Before you order

Asked before the party

The questions that come in most often, answered as shortly as they can honestly be answered.

How many covers do I need

One per table, and then round up to whole boxes. A room of thirty tables on a 12 pack is three boxes with six spare, which is the right amount of spare: a drink goes over at least once an evening. The table plan does this for any count.

Will it reach the floor

Depends on the table, not on the cover. Take the size of the cover, take off the size of the table, halve what is left: that is the drop on each side. Compare it with the height of the table, usually 29 or 30 inches. Anything less than that is a half drop, with the legs showing, which is how most banquet rooms are set anyway.

Can I put a round cover on a rectangle table

You can, and it will look like a mistake. The corners will be bare and the middle of each long side will hang almost to the floor. We do not print a drop for that combination for the same reason.

Are these reusable

They are cut to be set out, used and cleared. If a cover comes off a table clean you will get a second evening out of it, but that is luck rather than design, and we would not plan a room around it.

Is the shade the same across two boxes

Within one box, yes. Across two boxes bought at different times, close but not guaranteed: dye runs vary a little. If the whole room has to match, buy the room in one order.

What size charger goes under a dinner plate

Thirteen inches is the standard, and it is what we press. It leaves a rim of about an inch and a half around a normal dinner plate, which is the point of a charger.

Do the metals match each other

Gold and rose gold read as two different metals under warm light and sit together well. Gold and silver on the same table read as an accident unless you commit to it and alternate them deliberately. There is a note on that.

Where does the order actually go

To our retail partner. They take the payment, hold the stock and send the box; the full route is on the order page.

Something here is wrong

Tell us. Wrong sizes and wrong pack counts are the kind of mistake that ruins an evening, and we would rather hear it than not.
