One bolt, many jobs

Ten yards of 54-inch tulle is enough to skirt a 6-foot cake table, run a shimmering stripe down three banquet tables, or tie bows on twenty chairs. The glitter catches candlelight and camera flashes alike, which is why our tulle turns up in wedding photos, sweet sixteen backdrops and Christmas window displays.

Matched to our covers

We stock tulle in apple green, aqua, black, blush, fuchsia, ivory, lavender, light blue, orange, pink, purple, red, rose gold, royal blue, wine and yellow — shades chosen to sit on our plastic table covers. Blush over ivory, wine over burgundy and royal blue over white are three combinations we like.

Working with tulle

Cut with sharp scissors on a flat surface. To skirt a table, gather the tulle every few inches and clip it to the edge over a plastic cover; to make a runner, fold the 54-inch width in thirds lengthwise so it lies flat and opaque enough to show color.

Questions about this bolt

Is the bolt one continuous piece?

Yes, ten yards in one length on a cardboard core.

Can I steam out wrinkles?

Hang it for a day and most wrinkles fall out. A garment steamer held at a distance helps; do not iron directly.

Is the tulle stiff or soft?

Soft enough to drape and gather, with enough body to hold a bow.
